Typical scenarios
The report text and its appendices describe different objects
Suppose the conclusion names one object while photographs and tables in an appendix use another designation. This could be a drafting error or a material gap between the examination and the answer.
The final amount in a report does not match its calculation tables
If the remedial-work amount in the conclusions differs from the sum of the appendix items, the calculation sequence needs to be reconstructed. A different table version, rounding, duplicated work or an omitted explanation may account for the difference. The discrepancy alone does not establish which amount is justified.
